1. Information We Collect
Anonymous Usage (Default): When you open Jagruk Family and track milestones, all data (stage selection, child due date or date of birth, completed milestones, notes) is stored strictly in your browser's local storage (key: mdt-v2). We have zero access to this data.
Optional Cloud Sync: If you choose to back up your timeline or share it with a co-parent, we collect:
Your email address (for passwordless OTP authentication).
Milestone status records (which cards are marked done and when).
Anchor dates (due date, marriage date, or child date of birth).
We never collect or store Aadhaar numbers, PAN cards, biometric data, ultrasound scan images, or medical diagnostic reports.
2. Indian Data Residency
All cloud infrastructure is hosted in India (Supabase, AWS Asia Pacific Mumbai Region ap-south-1). Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3, and data at rest is protected with AES-256 encryption.
3. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023
As a data principal under Indian law, you hold complete sovereignty over your information:
Right to Access: View all information associated with your profile at any time.
Right to Data Portability: Download a complete copy of your timeline records in machine-readable JSON format with one click.
Right to Erasure / Deletion: Permanently delete your account and all associated cloud timeline records. Deletion is irreversible and processed immediately across database backups.
Right to Grievance Redressal: Submit any concern directly to our designated Grievance Officer.
4. Third-Party Services
We minimize third-party dependencies strictly to necessary operational infrastructure:
Payment Gateway: Razorpay Software Private Limited (strictly for processing digital gift passes; card and UPI details are handled directly by Razorpay under RBI guidelines and never stored by Jagruk Family).
