First dayGuideline

First bath after 24 hours
Wipe gently and keep the baby warm. Nothing on the cord.
Why It Matters (Clinical Guidance)
- Waiting at least 24 hours keeps the baby warm and protects the skin.
- Keep the cord clean and dry. No ghee, ash, oil or powder on it.
- Routine skin creams are not needed. Gentle massage is fine for bonding.
Respectful Message for Elders & Family
Send on WhatsApp“Maa, the doctors say the baby's first bath should wait at least one full day, to keep the baby warm. Let's do it together tomorrow.”
