Expect the ASHA's home visits
On days 3, 7, 14, 21, 28 and 42 after birth.
Why It Matters (Clinical Guidance)
- She checks the baby's weight, warmth, feeding and danger signs, and the mother's health.
- After a home birth she should also come within 24 hours.
- If a visit is missed, call the ANM or your health centre.
