Going back to work: plan feeding

Practise expressing milk, and ask HR about nursing breaks and the crèche.

Why It Matters (Clinical Guidance)

  • You get two nursing breaks a day, until the baby is 15 months old.
  • Workplaces with 50 or more staff must offer a crèche, usually within 1 km.
  • Expressed milk keeps 4 hours in a cool room, 4 days in the fridge and 6–12 months frozen.
