Sugar test (75 g glucose)
Drink glucose, then a blood test after 2 hours.
Why It Matters (Clinical Guidance)
- Diabetes in pregnancy is common in India and often has no symptoms.
- A 2-hour value of 140 mg/dL or more means diabetes in pregnancy.
- Treating it protects the baby's growth and the birth.
