Plan any flights before week 32

After 32 weeks most airlines want a doctor's fit-to-fly letter, and stop at 36 weeks.

Why It Matters (Clinical Guidance)

  • IndiGo: no certificate before 32 weeks; a doctor's certificate from week 32 to 36; no flying after 36 weeks.
  • For twins or a complicated pregnancy, the limits are 28 and 32 weeks.
  • Rules differ by airline, so check yours. On long trips, walk and drink water.
