Before the first period: a kit and a school check

Pads, spare underwear and a plan. Ask the school about free pads and toilets.

Why It Matters (Clinical Guidance)

The Supreme Court has ordered all schools to give free sanitary pads and separate working toilets for girls.
Girls who know what to expect miss less school.
Talk to sons too. Periods are normal, not shameful.
