Teach lightning and storm rules
Thunder means indoors. Install the Damini or SATARK app.
Why It Matters (Clinical Guidance)
- Lightning kills hundreds of people in Odisha every year, mostly from May to September.
- Damini warns of lightning within 20 to 40 km, about 40 minutes ahead.
- Stay away from open fields, lone trees and water when thunder is heard.
